1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EssayClean ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EssayClean.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

2. Description of Service

EssayClean is a software-as-a-service platform that provides AI content detection and AI text humanization tools. Our detection service analyzes text to estimate the likelihood that it was generated by artificial intelligence. Our humanization service rewrites AI-generated text to make it read more naturally and in a human voice.

The Service is designed to assist writers, students, and professionals in understanding and improving their written content. EssayClean does not guarantee any specific outcome, detection score, or result. AI detection technology is inherently probabilistic, and results may vary depending on the content, the detection tools used by third parties, and other factors outside our control.

We continuously work to improve the quality and accuracy of our tools. Features, capabilities, supported models, and processing methods may change at any time without prior notice as we iterate on the Service.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may register using an email address and password or through a supported third-party authentication provider (such as Google). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@essayclean.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. EssayClean is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this minimum age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You are solely responsible for all content you submit to or generate through the Service. You agree not to use EssayClean for any purpose that is unlawful, harmful, or prohibited by these Terms. This includes but is not limited to:

• Submitting content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Using the Service to produce or distribute malicious, defamatory, or fraudulent content
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models or algorithms of the Service
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service's infrastructure or other users' access
• Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the Service or its output without authorization

EssayClean is a writing tool. How you use the output of the Service is your responsibility. You are solely responsible for complying with any applicable academic integrity policies, institutional honor codes, or workplace guidelines. EssayClean does not encourage or endorse academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or misrepresentation of authorship.

5. Credits and Payments

EssayClean operates on a credit-based system. Credits are required to use certain features of the Service, including AI detection and text humanization. Credits may be purchased individually through one-time packs or obtained through a recurring subscription plan.

All purchases are processed through our third-party payment provider. By making a purchase, you agree to the payment provider's terms of service in addition to these Terms. Prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change. We will notify active subscribers before any price increase takes effect on their next billing cycle.

All credit purchases and subscription payments are final. We do not offer refunds for credits that have already been used. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at support@essayclean.com within 14 days of the transaction. Unused credits from one-time purchases do not expire. Subscription credits may be subject to expiration as described in the plan details at the time of purchase.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership rights to the content you submit to the Service. EssayClean does not claim ownership over any text you input or any output generated by the Service on your behalf. We do not use your submitted content to train our models or share it with third parties, except as necessary to provide the Service to you.

The EssayClean name, logo, website design, and all associated branding, software, and proprietary technology are the exclusive property of EssayClean. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service without our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use EssayClean's trademarks or branding.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. EssayClean does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

EssayClean makes no guarantee that content processed through our humanization tool will pass any specific AI detector, plagiarism checker, or institutional review process. Detection technology is constantly evolving, and results may vary across different platforms, versions, and evaluation methods. You acknowledge that no AI humanization tool can guarantee a specific outcome.

Similarly, our AI detection tool provides an estimate of the likelihood that text was AI-generated. Detection scores are not definitive proof of AI authorship or human authorship. You should not rely solely on EssayClean's detection results to make consequential decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EssayClean and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability.

In no event shall EssayClean's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the amount you paid to EssayClean in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies even if EssayClean has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to Terms

EssayClean reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email or through a notice within the Service.
